A Concert by Chesterton Baroque, Garden Room

Chesterton Baroque was founded by harpsichordist Dr Dan Tidhar as an ensemble in residence at St Georges, Chesterton. It consists of Cambridge and London based musicians specializing in historically informed performance of Baroque and classical reportorie on period instruments. It has been described as being based locally but with genuinely international membership and perspective. During 2011-2012 Chesterton Baroque has performed both a concert with harpsichord and a clavichord recital at St Edmund's College.

The after dinner speaker is G M Malliet (Psychology MPhil, 1985) author of the Agatha Award winning Death of a Cozy Writer, chosen by Kirkus Reviews as one of the Best Books of 2008. Her most recent releaseWicked Autumn is a 2011 Agatha Award Nominee for best traditional mystery novel and a 2011 Dilys Award nominee
