Undergraduate studies
BA students admitted to the College fall into two categories: Mature (over 21 on entry), and Affiliated (having an appropriate honours degree from elsewhere and wishing to complete a Cambridge undergraduate course in 2 years). Mature students cover the same ground at the same pace as school leavers and are required to provide evidence of ability to study for an honours degree. Please note that the College will admit affiliated and mature undergraduates wishing to read Medicine and Veterinary Medicine (some other colleges will not). In addition to formal lectures in the University, small group teaching known as supervisions are arranged by their Director of Studies and carried out both in the College and in various departments of the University. Read more about subjects and teaching. All students at St Edmund's have an appointed Tutor who is a Fellow of the College.
