College Prizes

St Edmund’s awards the following prizes:

All students achieving a First in the Tripos are awarded the St Edmund’s College Prize.

St Edmund’s College Martlet Award for Achievement

The College awards up to four of these awards for students who have overcome personal difficulties and succeeded in their studies.

The Dean’s Award is awarded for acts of supererogation in the College Community.

The Father Nicholas Smith Prize is awarded to the most accomplished tripos or MPhil student at the Cambridge Judge Business School.

The Coventry-Emsley Prize for the most outstanding PhD in Classics, History, Philosophy or Theology

The Kenneth Emsley Prize for the most outstanding PhD in any branch of Natural Sciences or Mathematics

The Toby Jackman Prize for the most outstanding PhD in any subject except Economics

The James Claydon Prize for the most outstanding PhD or MPhil in Economics or related subjects

The Simon Boniface Prize for the highest mark in tripos or postgraduate Medicine exams

The Roy Dunstan prize for most outstanding PhD in Engineering

The Robin Chatterjee Prize for the highest mark in the MPhil in Finance or Financial Research.

The John C B Chau Prize for the highest mark in the Engineering Tripos or MPhil

The David Scannell QC Prize for Law – for the highest mark in the Law Tripos.
