The Toby Jackman Newton Trust Research Fellowship

St Edmund’s College invites applications for the Toby Jackman Newton Trust Research Fellowship tenable from 1st October 2015 for 3 years until September 2018. The Research Fellowship is open to candidates who will carry out research in any field within the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Applicants should be of postdoctoral level or expect to attain it by 1 October 2015. The successful candidates will be entitled to Fellow’s Commons and a single room in College will be made available, if  required.  The stipend offered is £20,923, which is point 23 on the College salary spine.

The College gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the Isaac Newton Trust Research Fellowship Scheme for providing funds to support this post.

Applications should be made following the guidelines on the Junior Research Fellowship application system web site administered by Churchill College and will include a current CV, a research proposal, not normally exceeding 1000 words and two reports from independent referees, both of whom should be familiar with the candidate’s research work.  These materials must be submitted through the Joint Application Scheme for Junior Research Fellowships on the Churchill College website by 5pm on Sunday 16th November 2014.
