Undergraduate transferable skills
College Computer Rooms
The College has 2 Computer Rooms which are accessible 24 hours a day with your University Card. To use the machines in these rooms you will need you college user name and password which you will receive when you arrive. Please contact the IT Office if you have any problems or suggestions for the Computer Rooms.
The 2 Computer Rooms in college are:
The Norfolk Building Computer Room which contains 3 PCs running Windows XP and 2 iMacs running Mac OSX. There is a scanner attached to one of the PCs and there is a black HP Laserjet printer which can duplex (print on both sides of one sheet of paper).
The Top Floor Library Computer Room (Level 4) which has 3 PCs running Windows XP and 4 iMacs running Mac OSX. The printer for these machines is the photocopier on the floor below (Level 3) next to the Terry McLaughlin Room. It can print in black or colour and duplex.
Black printing is charged at a cost of 4 pence per side.
Colour printing is charged at a cost of 16 pence per side.
