Lectures at St Edmund's
From time to time, lectures on various subjects are held at St Edmund's. Given by distinguished speakers, often leaders in their fields, the lectures provide a stimulating atmosphere for consideration of topical issues.
The objective of this series of lectures and discussions is to explore the relationship between Christianity and issues in science and society. Over a 3-year period at least nine well-known international speakers who are leaders in their fields will be invited to give public lectures in Cambridge on a broad range of topics. The lectures will be organised by the Cambridge group 'Christians in Science', and will be followed by nine dinner-discussions hosted by St Edmund's College to explore in depth the issues for contemporary society raised by the lecturer.
