Further awards for Emeritus Fellow
Dr Michael Hoskin, Emeritus Fellow and formerly Vice Master and Senior Tutor, has been awarded the first Jaschek Medal meeting of the European Society for Astronomy in Culture. In addition he recently opened the Centro Solar Michael Hoskin, named in his honour at Antequera in southern Spain. This centre now houses six thousand photos taken by Dr Hoskin, some of archeological sites that no longer exist. Dr Hoskin is is primarily an historian of stellar astronomy and only last year was elected to an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Astronomical Society.
