New Graduate Course in Medicine

13 Sep 2017

St Edmund's is one of only four colleges offering places to Home/EU students on the new Graduate Course in Medicine at Cambridge.

The Graduate Course in Medicine is an accelerated four-year programme. The Cambridge Graduate Course (CGC) is four academic years long, starting in September of year one and finishing in June of year four (3 ¾ “actual” years). The emphasis is the acquisition of clinical skills by direct patient contact in hospital and community environments, and the integration of core medical science with clinical medicine. It is expected that most successful applicants have A*AA at A-level, or equivalent, as well as an excellent record at University.

Judith Bunbury, Senior Tutor is 'delighted that we can offer this opportunity, at St Edmund's.'

Only St Ed's, Hughes Hall, Lucy Cavendish and Wolfson participate in the programme providing academic and pastoral support as well as contributing to the selection process. There are general practices in West Suffolk committed to the course.

Applications are now open. Find out more.
