I got my PhD degree in summer 2003 with the work on "The management and recycling of household waste in England and Japan - a comparative study". I worked in the Department of Geography under the supervision of Prof. Susan Owens. Prior to that, I did an M.Phil. in Environment and Development.
Before I came to Cambridge, UK , I was in Kyoto, Japan , studying at Kyoto University for my first degree (B.Eng.) in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering - I worked on my final dissertation at t he Environment Preservation Center, and then an M.A. (Literature) in Geography.
- If you don't have a Japanese fontset, you may need to use Silas's gateway (Cambridge / Australia). If you want to know more about Japanese encoding systems, see http://www.lfw.org/text/.
