Emeritus Fellow Professor Richard Hills elected to the Royal Society

Professor Richard Hills, the emeritus Professor Radio Astronomy in the University of Cambridge and an emeritus Fellow of St Edmund’s has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society. Richard has been a pioneer in the development of radio astronomy at millimetre wavelengths and between 2007 and 2012 played a major role in leading a major international project, the Atacam Large Millimetre/Submillimetre Array (ALMA) in Chile.
