Dr David Snoswell

With a Degree in Chemical Engineering and PhD in colloid science David has a broad range of experience in the physical sciences covering industry and academic research since 1994. With a PhD from the University of South Australia he moved to the UK to work in the School of Chemistry, Bristol University investigating colloidal aggregation for Kodak.

In Jan 2008 he worked at the Cavendish Laboratories in the Department of Physics at the University of Cambridge researching polymeric opals. In June 2009 he became a teaching fellow with the newly formed Nano Doctoral Training Centre (NanoDTC) and from 2009-2011 he was engaged with Cambridge Enterprise building a patent portfolio on polymer opal films.

In Jan 2012 David joined SLB’s Cambridge research facility. He has worked in the New Energy group since March 2021 on decarbonisation technologies, specialising in business strategy for low-carbon hydrogen.
