St Edmund’s College announces that Ms Edna Murphy, Bursar and Treasurer for the College, will be leaving to take on new challenges after a major period of growth and development for the College.

During her term she has successfully steered the construction and occupation of the prize-winning Mount Pleasant Halls accommodation, introducing change to the College operations in order to support a substantial increase in the size of the estate. She ensured that permanent planning permission was granted for the College’s estates masterplan. She founded the College’s Music Society, open to staff, students and fellows alike.

Edna Murphy said:

‘It has been a very challenging time in the College’s history with growth and development alongside but I am pleased to leave the College estate and operations in a good state, with a bright future.’
