A Lifetime of Impact
Once you have provided for your loved ones and dependants, leaving a gift in your will to St Edmund’s College is a powerful way to make your mark on a place and a mission that matters to you.
Leaving a legacy at St Edmund’s College can make an enduring difference to the future of the college. Your support will empower generations of students and scholars to come: encouraging research into fundamental questions, providing transformative experiences to students, and safeguarding our estate for the future.
To discuss leaving your legacy at St Edmund’s, or if you are the executor of a will containing a charitable bequest to us, email Ruby Ranson, Development Officer at development@st-edmunds.cam.ac.uk
How to leave a legacy
If you are in the UK you can take advantage of our free will writing service provided by our partners at Farewill.
If you are in the US you can learn more about legacy giving and other forms of planned giving from our partners at Cambridge in America.
If you already have a will and would like to amend it you can use this codicil form.
We recommend that you consult with a solicitor if your estate is complex or if you would like individual advice.
Free Will Writing
St Edmund’s has partnered with Farewill to offer a free will writing service to alumni, supporters, and members in the UK.
Writing your will with Farewill is a reliable and convenient way to establish your legacy and prepare for the future. Designed with the majority of domestic estates in mind, Farewill provides expertly authenticated online or telephone will-writing services.
This service is free of charge and there is no requirement to make a donation if you use it, but we hope that you will consider remembering St Edmund’s in your plans.
The Edmond Nolan Society
We warmly invite all legacy donors who have told us about their planned gift to become a member of the Edmond Nolan Society. The Society is named after Fr Edmond Nolan, the former Vice-President of our forebear institution in Hertfordshire and the founding supervisor of our home in Cambridge, commemorating the enduring impact of his life of service. It would be an honour to welcome you to join this community.
