Accommodation Booking

Allocation of Rooms

The Rooms Administrator in consultation with the Rooms Tutor have overall responsibility for allocating College accommodation, and endeavours to apply fair principles of application in meeting the needs of members.

Continuing Students

For continuing graduate and undergraduate students the College will endeavour to accommodate all that are looking for accommodation in the next academic year.

PhD students on their fourth year will not be allocated accommodation unless they can prove they will be paying Tuition Fees. No exception is made if the student did not live in College in one of the previous 3 years. This is because, either, when applying they met their conditions after the deadline when the College guarantees accommodation will be offered, or, they had decided not to apply for accommodation, or, they had not accepted it when it was offered.

The Booking Procedure

Bookinf portal links will be sent to continuing students will be sent in late April. You will be sent an email to register for your online accommodation portal or you may already have a log-in from previous years. Once registered, your accommodation application and confirmation of booking is all done online through your accommodation portal. You will be able to select and book the category of room that you want, from what is still available.

Make sure you choose the accommodation that will suit you best by doing some research via our website before you apply. Once a room has been reserved, students will not be able to change their category selection.

There are full instructions about logging in and how to book a room on the email you will be sent and on the online portal. You can start an application and log back in another time to complete it but please be aware that if an application is left for more than 24 hours the category selected may be released and you need to select a category of room again.

Unfortunately, we are not able to conduct room viewings.

Within reason, and without loss of category choice to students, it is important that the college works towards a buildings allocations management plan.  Therefore, the Richard Laws building will be used mainly for students on shorter accommodation contracts and it is likely there will be a higher proportion of students on longer accommodation contracts going into Mount Pleasant Halls.

Family Accommodation

Family accommodation cannot be booked through the online portal due to limited availability, please contact the College directly to book.
