Accommodation at St Edmund's

We offer a variety of accommodation to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. From the modern facilities of Mount Pleasant Halls to the more traditional rooms of the Norfolk Building, there’s something to suit all tastes.

St Edmund’s College has considerable history and character, and has undergone several phases of recent development. Our rooms are distributed in buildings of differing ages, and are of varying sizes and levels of facilities.

Single rooms in St Edmund’s are graded from 1 to 12. Grade 1 being the lowest, and Grade 12 the highest.

Grade 1 rooms are smaller and situated in the older buildings. Grades 6 and above are generally larger, have en suite facilities and are situated in the newer buildings. In 2019, the College opened Mount Pleasant Halls, a new development on the main campus. This accommodation consists of single en suite bedrooms and studios.

“The accommodations at St. Edmund’s College are well suited for everyone. Whether you have a partner, family, or have special requirements, Eddie’s has a wonderful place for you to live! As a mature student with a family, our requirements for accommodations were a bit different than some of my younger classmates."

"After some searches around the Cambridge area for private accommodations, we weren’t very excited with the offerings. Fortunately, we contacted the Accommodation’s Office, and they were able to provide us with a fantastic updated 3-bedroom flat located on St Edmund’s College."
