Brian Heap Building consists of 69 study bedrooms in Grade 6 to 9. The building is located right next to the beautiful College Orchard.

Each block of 8 rooms have a large shared kitchen/common area with full cooking, food storage facilities and a dining table with chairs.
Opened in 2019, Mount Pleasant Halls consists of 262 single en suite and single/double occupancy modern studio flats over five buildings, cantered around two south facing courtyards. These range in height at street level from two to four storeys with a further top storey facing Huntingdon Road set back from the main elevation.

Opened by HRH the Duke of Edinburg in 2002. Richard Laws Building consists of 49 study bedrooms in Grade 5. On one side there is a beautiful view of the College Orchard, and on the other the College grounds, the Norfolk Building and Chapel.

The college does not supply bed sheets, duvet covers or pillow cases. The college does not supply plates, cutlery, pots or pans, however some may have been left by the previous occupant for use.
Please note that rents for the Studio Flats are invoiced monthly and are exclusive of utility bills and council tax.
Our 3-room flats are available to families and couples (with preference being given to families). The 4-room flats are available to families.

About Apartments
The flats are partially furnished and equipped with some essential items. Linen, towels, crockery and cutlery are not provided. If previous residents have left items behind the college will leave for the next resident. These items can be disposed of if not needed.
Please note that rents for the Geoffrey Cook Building are invoiced monthly and are exclusive of utility bills and council tax.
Single rooms in St Edmund’s are graded from 1 to 12. Grade 1 being the lowest, and Grade 12 the highest.
Grade 1 rooms are smaller and situated in the older buildings. Grades 6 and above are generally larger, have en suite facilities and are situated in the newer buildings. In 2019, the College opened Mount Pleasant Halls, a new development on the main campus. This accommodation consists of single en suite bedrooms and studios.
St Edmund’s College adheres to the ANUK/Unipol Code of Standards for Larger Residential Developments for student accommodation managed and controlled by educational establishment.

All single undergraduate students, Foundation Year students and Graduate Medicine students are guaranteed accommodation in College for the duration of their degrees. For postgraduate students, we cannot guarantee College accommodation to all students, and it is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
St Edmund’s College offers several guest rooms located across our campus, including the Brian Heap Building, Richard Law’s Building, and Mount Pleasant Halls. Yes, students are not required to move out or remove their belongings from the room during the half-term break, provided their contract is still ongoing.
Aldi is the nearest supermarket and is about a ten-minute walk. There is also a petrol service station and other smaller convenience and coffee shops in the locality. There is a world food store, Midan world foods, less than a five minute walk away. All are located on Histon Road.
