Bar & CR

A communal space for all.

The Combination Room (CR) is both the student body and the central meeting place in College for all students – a communal living room.  This is the place where social events happen, like open mic nights, music performances and large-themed parties known in Cambridge as ‘bops’.

Situated on the ground floor of the Norfolk building, the CR also provides a place to relax.  You can unwind after a day of study with a good book, watch TV or play pool with your friends. Every day at 3pm, we serve tea, coffee and freshly baked biscuits.

Eddies Bar

Our Bar

Our bar is affectionately known as Eddies and is entirely student-run. Possibly one of the smallest bars in Cambridge, it has a reputation for being one of the best drinking establishments in the city. If you become a student here, you’ll have to let us know if that’s true.

Typically open between 9.30pm and midnight, the bar offers a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

It is managed by the CR Bar Steward and operated voluntarily by members of the College.
