Tutorial Office

From the moment you matriculate to the day you graduate, we’re here to support you every step of the way on your academic journey.

The Tutorial Office are a dedicated team of knowledgeable professional services staff who are on hand to provide you with expert help and guidance. Services provided by the Tutorial Office include:

  • Managing college membership status and issuing relevant letters
  • Conducting student visa checks and passport scanning
  • Providing support with exam arrangements, including administering exam allowances and warnings
  • Overseeing matriculation and degree conferral administration, as well as managing related college events

Offering support and guidance for students facing personal or academic challenges, in collaboration with college tutors and the Student Wellbeing Office.

Pastoral support for students is provided through our team of College Tutors, who are assigned to you when you join the College. Our Tutors are there to support you with a range of non-academic issues or advice on academic progression. They play an important role in your college experience and can help with:

  • introducing you to Cambridge and College life
  • physical and mental health issues
  • guidance on financial issues, for example: budgeting, hardship, delayed loan payments and funding opportunities
  • examinations, including special arrangements for examinations, appeals/complaints
  • support with changing of course, intermission, disregarding terms
  • advice on study methods and support in the event of difficulties with courses or supervisors.

We are open Monday to Friday (9.00am – 12.30pm; 1.00pm – 5.00pm) and located in the buildings opposite the Richard Laws Building.
