Peerawat Chiaranunt is a Doctorate Affiliate member of the VHI and a doctoral candidate at the University of Oxford in Medieval and Modern Languages, where with the support of the Clarendon Fund and under Simon A. Gilson’s supervision, he is disserting on Dante Alighieri’s philosophical conception of celestial causality and the related notion of Universal Nature. 

Early Christian Natural Theology and Twentieth Century Natural Theology: Why They Are NOT the Same’

Rev Dr Isidoros Charalampos Katsos is Assistant Professor of Theological Epistemology and Philosophy at the National University of Athens, Fellow at the Cambridge Centre for the Study of Platonism (CCSP) and Associated Researcher at the EU ITN/ETN project ‘The History of Human Freedom and Dignity in Western Civilization.’ He is also Fellow of the Forum of Advanced Studies (FSA) in Rome and invited scholar at the Orthodox Christian Studies Centre (OCSC), University of Fordham. He holds a PhD in Human Rights, Ecology, and Cultural Heritage Law (Freie Universität Berlin, 2009); and a PhD in Philosophy and Theology (University of Cambridge, 2019), under the supervision of Rowan Williams. He has studied law in Athens, Paris and Berlin; and philosophy and theology in Athens and Cambridge. Previous appointments include a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Oxford; a Junior Research Fellowship at Campion Hall, Oxford; and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Center for the Study of Christianity, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
