St Edmund’s College Boat Club had a very successful 2014 May Bumps campaign. In Division 2 the men’s first eight, which included the new Cambridge University Boat Club President Alex Leichter, bumped on the first three days, moving up to 21st place on the river, the College’s highest position to date. In Division 4, the men’s second eight bumped each day, with an over-bump on Saturday, to win their blades. Sadly the women’s eight was excluded from the races because of the technicality of insufficient outings in eights before the races commenced.
