On 25 October, Eddies student Qing Chang (BA Mathematics, 2016) won the 2018 Women in Tech Challenge. The challenge was organised by Newnham College and the Wo+Men’s Leadership Centre of the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, with support from Microsoft and GSK.

The challenge itself was a group case analysis of topics picked by Microsoft or GSK and Qing’s team worked on how to accelerate Microsoft 365 Firstline Businesses. Everyone gets a certificate of participation, and the benefits of being part of this initiative, to encourage more women to enter tech careers and give them the skills in order to do so, will be felt by all.

That being said, Qing’s team will now be afforded the chance to visit Microsoft and learn even more.
