Second year engineer Aleksi Tukiainen has won a prestigious Award

Second year mature undergraduate engineer Aleksi Tukiainen has won a prestigious Advanced Award from the Engineering Leadership Award Scheme created by The Royal Academy of Engineering. Aleksi is one of three award winners from Cambridge out of 36 winners nationwide in 2014.

The awards are designed to to provide carefully planned training and experience as well as the skills and capacity to fast-track the winner’s career after graduating. The award provides up to £5,000 to carry out a personal development plan over a period of three years.
