Undergraduate Offer Holders

Congratulations on receiving your offer to study at St Edmund’s College and the University of Cambridge.

We hope you’re on course to meet any conditions of your offer and look forward to welcoming you to the College in the autumn. You’ll find important information on the next steps in the admissions process once you have received your offer here.

Your to-do-list

1.

Accept your offer via UCAS by the given deadline.

2.

Submit copies of certificates of your previous qualifications to the Admissions Office (if you did not already include them in your application form)

3.

Work hard to meet any academic conditions of your offer. Once you receive exam results from any qualifications relevant to your offer, please send these through to us.

4.

If you’re a UK student, apply for your student finance from March onwards and find out whether you’re eligible for the Cambridge Bursary.

5.

If you require a student visa, wait for your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies) which is sent from June onwards from the International Student Office, and then apply for your visa.

6.

Explore our accommodation types, costings and read the accommodation handbook.

7.

Notify the College of any wellbeing issues. Students with accessibility requirements need to register with the Accessibility and Disability Resource Centre (ADRC).

Accommodation

At St Edmund’s, all undergraduates, Foundation Year students and Graduate Medicine students are guaranteed a single occupancy room in College for the duration of their degree. You become eligible to book your room once you have met ALL the conditions of your offer, including submitting your financial undertaking form, and your place is confirmed by the College. Accommodation booking links are sent manually to newly eligible undergraduate offer-holders every Tuesday at around midday. Please do not contact us unless you have not received the booking link by 3pm on the Tuesday after you have received your confirmation of admission from the College.

St Edmund’s College is committed to making reasonable adjustments to help meet students’ needs including, where possible, in the allocation of College accommodation. If you are managing a medical condition (e.g. physical or sensory impairments) or would like to make us aware of wellbeing-related matters that need to be taken into account in the allocation of accommodation, please let us know by emailing admissions@st-edmunds.cam.ac.uk. We will advise you on the next steps which may include putting you in touch with our wellbeing team to discuss your requirements, receive your medical supporting documents, and consider how these can be accommodated for.
