Is community possible? What is the relationship between care, critique, and knowledge production? In what ways might higher education elucidate and embody, or obfuscate and elide, such questions?
This year, the Education as Liberation Society will explore what we owe each other as individuals and in community, with particular interest in the question and idiom of ‘care’ at the intersection of medicine, poverty studies, and global pedagogies. All disciplinary perspectives are welcome.
