Today (1 October) marks the start of Black History Month and to celebrate we shall be hosting a panel discussion on Wednesday 16 October at 3pm in the Garden Room.

Centred on the themes of black excellence, health and wellness, this event will honour the resilience, achievements and cultural contributions of St Edmund’s black community and the wider black community, while providing space for conversation around the power of self-definition.

Confirmed speakers include health economist and entrepreneur Ebenezer Ademisoye, St Edmund’s College Fellow and Senior Clinical Scientist Dr Rafia Al-Lamki and Mastercard Scholar Godspower Major (2023, MPhil Biological Sciences – Zoology)

The event is ticketed and is open to all staff, students, fellows and alumni of St Edmund’s College.

Sign up now to hear from trailblazers and changemakers who are reclaiming narratives in their respective fields and shaping the future in black excellence.
