Salary: £28,800 to £32,000

We’re looking for an experienced, quick‑learning Administrator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys navigating detailed processes with accuracy, agility and confidence. You’ll bring excellent customer‑facing communication skills, both written and verbal and a strong, data‑literate approach, supported by experience gained in a customer service focused setting.
Joining a supportive, friendly team with clear procedures and robust training, you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless, high‑quality service to students: supporting them from their very first interactions with the College, through their studies, and right up to graduation.
While experience of the Cambridge collegiate environment is an advantage, what matters most is your drive, your passion for great service, and your commitment to getting things right for every student you support.
Job responsibilities
- Support the tutorial and admissions processes by maintaining accurate records, responding to enquiries in a timely way.
- Processes to include vetting admissions from application to acceptance, matriculation, assistance with records updates, financial and academic awards, graduation.
- Be the first point of contact for the department directing enquiries to the appropriate resources or individual concerned.
- Updating website to keep information current
- Support the department, deliver key activities by helping plan and deliver events in the life cycle of a student, tutors, and director of studies.
- Produce communication materials for the admissions and tutorial team in keeping with the values and ethos of the College. Communicate to all stakeholders as necessary in a timely and clear way.
- Support the team and as necessary the wider College with diary and correspondence management.

Experience:
- Experience working in a customer‑facing environment
- Experience in an academic setting (advantageous but not essential)
