Learn beginner carpentry skills and come away with your very own plant stand.
This week at Wellbeing Wednesday, local carpentry teacher Wood Woman will be joining us to teach beginner carpentry skills.
Carpentry improves wellbeing by providing stress relief, building confidence, and keeping the body active. Wood Woman, also known as Imogen, has years of experience teaching carpentry to complete beginners.
Everyone is warmly welcome to join us for this exciting chance to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into carpentry.
- Build confidence as you gain beginner carpentry skills
- Gain a sense of accomplishment as you create your very own plant stand
- Enjoy the mindfulness and peaceful focus of carpentry
- Meet new people as you practise your new skills together
Refreshments will be available.
There will be three slots to choose from: 4 to 5pm, 5 to 6pm, and 6 to 7pm. Interested participants only need to sign up to one slot; the entire class takes 1 hour.
Booking is essential for this popular event. 1 week before the event, the Wellbeing team will circulate a booking link to all St Edmund’s students via email where you can sign up for your spot.
