Take a break and join us to mark our first Happy Slump Day of Easter Term 2026, with tea, coffee, cake, and denim.
Denim Day
We will be marking Denim Day by wearing denim for the event! Join us in wearing your favourite denim outfit. Jeans, jorts, jumpsuits, and jackets are all welcome. Denim Day takes place on the last Wednesday of April to mark Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and was set up in 1999 to show support for survivors of sexual violence. Find out more about how the idea of Denim Day came about. There is no pressure to wear denim if you don’t want to – all are welcome.
Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre
Clara from Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre (CRCC) will also be joining us for Happy Slump Day. CRCC offers free specialist support to women and girls across Cambridgeshire who have been affected by sexual violence at any time. There are plenty of volunteer roles available. Feel free to come along and chat to Clara about the valuable work done by CRCC, and opportunities to get involved in a volunteer capacity. There is no pressure to get involved with CRCC – all are welcome to come by for the regular tea, coffee, cake, and conversation of our regular Slump Day events.
