In Memoriam: Dame Bridget Ogilvie
We are very sorry to share the news that Dame Bridget Margaret Ogilvie AC, DBE, PhD, ScD, FRS, FRCPath, FMedSci, Honorary Fellow of St Edmund’s College died on 27 April 2026, aged 88 years.
She was formerly High Steward, sometime Director of the Wellcome Trust, former member of the Council for Science and Technology and Chair of the Committee on the Public Understanding of Science, Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science, Kilgerran Award-winner, Duncan Davies and Ralph Doherty Medallist.
