Join us in-person or online (17 Sept) for a morning dialogue followed by an afternoon reflective workshop on how mindful education can shift the dial from war to peace.

As part of the RESEARCH ENGAGEMENT DIALOGUE SERIES (REDS2), Senior Research Associate and Unesco Chair Professor Alain Tschudin will be hosting an event on Wednesday 17 September, entitled: ‘Peace starts with Children: Developing a mindset of Interdependence’.

Esteemed pedagogues and peace practitioners, Takako Fukatsu and Allan Nguyen will guide us through the importance of education to peace. Takako, a lifelong peace activist shares her conviction that “Peace starts with children” and how she arrived at this insight. Allan Nguyen, a Montessori Trainer, speaks on “developing a mindset of interdependence”.

St Edmund’s College is co-host of the UNESCO Gandhi-Montessori-Luthuli Chair on Education for Peace and Transformative Solidarity.
