Registrations are open for the sixth installation of the Research Engagement Dialogue Series (REDS): “Promoting Nonviolent Futures and Cosmic Harmony”.
In celebration of the first year of our UNESCO Education for Peace and Transformative Solidarity Chair, the CST is delighted to welcome Dr Francesca Po (Metta Centre for Nonviolence).
This multi-day hybrid event includes:
- 24 June (1-3PM SAST): a film screening of The Third Harmony, followed by a REDS dialogue (online and in-person); (3.30-5PM SAST) reflective workshop (in-person)
- 25 June: (ALL DAY): Nonviolent Communication inspired by Marshall Rosenberg
- 26 June: (MORNING) – Closing session
As always, this event is FREE and inclusive and all are welcome to participate.
The REDS are talks on peace, justice and solidarity with global speakers, led by Professor Alain Tschudin, UNESCO Chair of Education for Peace and Transformative Solidarity, and co-hosted by the Von Hügel Institute, St Edmund’s College, and the Centre for Sustainability Transitions, Stellenbosch University.
