Alumnus Douwe de Graaf (2024, MPhil in Finance and Economics), a member of the Men’s Blue Boat 2025, played a key role in the victorious Cambridge Four at the World Rowing Championships held in Shanghai, China.

Racing as part of Great Britain’s coxless four, de Graaf and his teammates clinched gold in a thrilling final, clocking a time of 5:48.48.
