The Master noted,

After three decades at the University, encountering the wisdom and generosity of the Heads of House has been the most enriching experience of my career. It will be a privilege to support colleagues individually and unite them collectively in pursuit of Cambridge’s continued excellence.

The appointment is seen as a positive step for St Edmund’s College, reinforcing its role within the collegiate University at a time of ongoing collaboration and development.
