Find your passion, beyond your studies.
We want you to enjoy your time with us. At St Edmund’s, there are many opportunities to join a club or society. From rowing and rugby to book clubs and gardening, there’s something for everyone.
A long history of sporting excellence.
We have a strong sporting tradition at St. Edmund’s and actively encourage you to participate in some form of physical activity, whether that’s just for fun or for something more.
Many of our students take part in sport at the highest level and represent both the College and the University of Cambridge at national and international sporting events. 17 of our alum have gone on to represent their countries at the Olympic Games.

The
Boat Race
We have a proud connection to one of the world’s oldest and most famous amateur sporting events, with many of our students representing both the College and Cambridge in The Boat Race. The annual sporting event between the UK’s two greatest universities, Cambridge and Oxford, now spans 185 years of rivalry and The Boat Race has become synonymous with British tradition and excellence.

As an active member of many sports and activities at St. Edmund's College, these experiences have truly been a fundamental part of Cambridge experience! I am an active member of the St. Edmund's Boat Club and I play rugby for an Eddies affiliated postgraduate team, the All Greys RUFC. I also manage to help coach the women’s Cambridge University Rugby Union Football Club (CURUFC) and play for the Cambridge University Pythons American Football team (CUPAF). I also find time to be involved with the college/university CR and legal societies.
