Join us for an evening of learning the mesmerising art of lino printing.

This week’s Wellbeing Wednesday will be led by Emeritus Fellow Gordon Chesterman, a talented printmaker and longstanding member of the St. Edmund’s community.

At this lino printing session, attendees can learn how to carve out a design into a piece of lino, apply ink, and under Gordon’s guidance, use a traditional method printing press to stamp a design out again and again. Make cards to send to family and friends for the holiday season – or just enjoy using your prints to decorate your room!

Previous feedback for this class has been excellent, with past participants quoted as saying:

“I learned a new skill and gained appreciation for this really cool art form.”

“I came away having experiences the mindfulness of lino – it is so mesmerising!”

“There’s a new art form that I learned, that I didn’t even know existed!

Everyone is welcome, including all levels of artistic ability. Full instruction will be given, and refreshments will be served.

Booking is essential for this popular event. 1 week before the event, the Wellbeing team will circulate a booking link to all St. Edmund’s students via email where you can sign up for your spot.
