Ever wondered what your blood type is, or how simple the process of blood donation really is? Join us for an intro to blood donation event in the Garden Room.

The NHS Blood Donation team will be visiting College for one day only for this pop-up initiative. Staff, students, and fellows are welcome to drop in any time, and to stay for as little or as long as you like.

At the event, you’ll be able to:

  • Register as a new donor
  • Find out your blood type through a 5 minute finger-prick test, administered by trained NHSBT team members
  • Learn about the lifesaving power of blood and the amazing difference blood donors make
  • Discover how to get to the main blood donation locations in Cambridge
  • Find out about eligibility criteria for blood donation
  • Book a slot to donate blood

The team will be accepting drop-ins all day, but if you prefer, you can book a slot in advance. A booking link will be circulated a week before the event.
