St Edmund’s College Fellow, Director of Studies in Engineering and Deputy Admissions Tutor, Dr Matt Cole, has been awarded the prestigious Silver Medal from the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the fields of materials science, engineering and technology, and in particular for his development of nanostructured electron sources.  Dr Cole will receive the Medal at the Institute’s annual awards ceremony on Tuesday 14th July 2015.
