New Partnership with Jeju National University

St Edmund’s College is delighted to announce a new international partnership with Jeju National University, South Korea. The cooperation will launch a software business focused programme with English language, funded by the Korean government. The programme will involve 44 Universities and the first cohort will travel to Cambridge for a 3-week course in summer 2023 from 6 – 19 August, as part of St Edmund’s Global Programmes, managed by BlueBridge Education.

Earlier this month, St Edmund’s College Master, Catharine Arnold OBE, and BlueBridge Education Co-Founder Stewart Eru met with Professor Jineun Eun, Dean of Jeju National University and Professor Seongbaeg Kim, Director of Jeju National University. The long-term partnership aims to foster creative talent in computer science via an annual software development programme.

The programme will cover the following subject areas:
-Digital & Technology Solution
-Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
-Start-up Business Innovation

Alongside technology and software-related classes, the course will include English language modules, as well as visits to start-up and software related companies, and project work in small groups.
