Members of the College were saddened to hear that The Rt Hon The Lord Thomas Camoys GCVO PC DL, died on 4 January 2023.
Elected an Honorary Fellow of St Edmund’s College in 2016, Lord Camoys served as the first Roman Catholic Lord Chamberlain of the United Kingdom since the Reformation. He is survived by his wife, Lady Elizabeth Camoys. The Master has written to Lord Camoys’ widow and the College’s flag will be flown at half-mast on Friday 27 January 2023 for two days to mark Lord Camoys’ death.
