Professor Mark Engelman

Mark Engelman qualified as a pharmacologist (Kings, Lond) converted to law, (City University), qualified at The Bar, (Inns of Court School of Law), appointed Master of The Honourable Soc. of Gray’s Inn, Research Associate The Von Hugel Institute, St Edmunds College Camb, Professor of IP Law and Advocacy, Notre Dame University London Gateway. Mark practices as a specialist Intellectual Property Barrister at 4-5 Gray’s Inn, London, is a visiting professor to Brunel University and indue course Oxford University `and Cambridge University. He has been standing counsel to Apple, Inc, Specsavers, and acting in numerous high profile legal actions including the lead case on trade mark dilution in the Court of Justice of the European Union.

He has published Engelman’s Intellectual Property Update and been commissioned to write numerous  academic papers within the field of Intellectual Property. He has sat on the boards of numerous companies including Gucci’s Alexander McQueen and currently sits on The Development Council of The Globe Theatre London.
